The first theatrical trailer of debutants Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty was unveiled by superstar Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai on Wednesday. The glimpse of the film looks promising but time will say whether the newbies have succeeded in winning people’s hearts.
Hero is the remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 blockbuster of the same name starring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in the lead roles. Looking at the trailer, Sooraj and Athiya did their best to do justice to their respective roles. Sooraj, who is the son of Aditya Pancholi also shared screen space with his daddy in the film. Also the trailer shows that Sooraj has left no stone unturned to follow his role model Salman Khan, whether in terms of look, physique or acting. Meanwhile, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and producer Salman Khan was the first one to share the trailer on Twitter. The film has been directed by Nikhil Advani and is all set to hit theatres on September 11.
